1. Purpose and definitions

1.1 Purpose of the service

These general terms and conditions of use and subscription (hereinafter the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Oplan web platform, including the paid "Teacher" subscription and the free trial period. This plan is designed for teachers aged 18 and over who wish to generate educational content. Teachers may use this content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. The platform offers tools and resources to support this goal.

1.2 Key definitions

  • Subscription: Refers to a paid plan, either "Teacher," available on a monthly or annual basis.
  • Free trial: Corresponds to a 30-day period of free access to the Oplan platform, including an allocation of 5 artificial intelligence (AI) credits.
  • AI credits : Units that allow you to use certain advanced features of the platform based on artificial intelligence (e.g., writing assistance, exercise generation, etc.).

2. Free trial

When you create your Oplan account, a 30-day free trial period is automatically activated. During this period, you will receive 5 AI credits to explore the platform's features. No payment method is required to activate or use the free trial.

3. Features offered depending on the plan

The features available within Oplan vary depending on your subscription type (Basic Family, Pro Family, or Teacher). A detailed comparison table of the main features is available on the following page: https://oplan.ca/en/pricing.html. Please note that these features may be changed at any time without notice in order to improve the service. Plans are subject to adjustment based on changes to the tools and services offered. 4. Payment terms

4.1 Secure payment and rates

Payments are securely processed through Stripe, which supports major credit cards. The "Teacher" subscription rate is as follows: Teacher: $20/month or $200/year (saving $40 per year) These rates are subject to change. In the event of a change, you will be notified in advance by email.

4.2 Automatic renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each period (monthly or yearly). For annual subscriptions, you will receive a notification 48 hours before the renewal date. If your monthly subscription continues beyond one year, Oplan will send you an annual reminder of your renewal and cancellation rights.

4.3 Transaction history

You can access your complete transaction history from the Oplan app. If you have any questions or requests regarding your payments, please contact our support team.

5. Changing the payment frequency

5.1 Payment frequency (change: Monthly → Annual)

If you decide to change the payment frequency of your subscription from monthly to annual, the next payment will be for the annual period. For example, if you start your monthly subscription on June 10 and decide to change the payment frequency during the month of July, the next payment on August 10 will be at the annual subscription price. The next payment will then be on August 10 of the following year.

5.2 Payment frequency (change: Annual → Monthly)

If you decide to change the payment frequency of your subscription from an annual subscription to a monthly subscription, the next payment will be for the monthly period. For example, if you start your annual subscription on June 10 and decide to change the payment frequency during the month of July, the next payment on July 10 of the following year will be at the monthly subscription price.

6. Cancellation and access to the service

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Oplan account interface, at no additional cost. No refund requests will be processed for periods already paid for. This policy is detailed in the following section. Your access to Oplan services will remain active until the end of the period for which you have already paid:
  • For a monthly subscription, access ends at the end of the current month.
  • For an annual subscription, access ends 12 months after the start date of the current subscription.

7. No Refund Policy

Oplan has a no refund policy for all paid subscriptions. This means that once payment has been made, no refunds will be given. This policy is in line with recognized practices in Canada, provided that it is clearly displayed before payment, which is the case on the Oplan platform.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the province of Quebec, Canada, as well as by relevant Canadian federal laws. In the event of a disagreement or dispute, we encourage you to seek an amicable resolution by contacting us. 9. Automatic renewal of subscriptions: Compliance

In Canada, automatic subscription renewal is permitted, provided that the information is clear and notice is provided in advance. Oplan is committed to complying with these obligations by sending you notifications before each renewal and offering you the option to cancel your subscription at any time.

10. Compliance with consumer laws

10.1 Quebec law

In Quebec, a consumer may cancel an online contract within 7 days of its conclusion, unless the service is provided immediately. Since access to the Oplan service is available upon subscription, this 7-day right of withdrawal may be limited. The merchant is not required to offer a refund if its no-refund policy is clearly posted, which is the case with Oplan.

10.2 Canadian law

At the Canadian federal level, there is no general obligation to refund, except in the case of defective products or services.

11. Use of generated content

You are solely responsible for any use, sharing, or modification of the content generated through your account. Oplan is not responsible for how you choose to use, distribute, or apply this material, whether for your students' learning or other purposes.

12. Payment management and chargeback prevention

Your complete payment history is accessible via the application. Automated annual notifications are set up to inform you of due dates and avoid any surprises. The use of Stripe as a payment processor helps minimize the risk of unauthorized transactions.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By subscribing to or renewing any Oplan plan, including free trials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. In addition to the Terms and Conditions of Subscription, you also agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy when using our services:

Family Pro: $18/month or $180/year (saving $36 per year). These prices are subject to change. In the event of a change, you will be notified in advance.

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each period (monthly or yearly). For annual subscriptions, you will receive a notification 48 hours before the renewal date. 5. Subscription changes

5.1 Upgrade (Basic → Pro)

If you decide to upgrade from the "Family Basic" plan to the "Family Pro" plan, you will be charged the difference in price immediately. You will then have access to the features of the "Family Pro" plan without delay. Future payments (monthly or annual) will then be charged at the full rate for the "Family Pro" plan.

5.2 Downgrade (Pro → Basic)

If you choose to switch to a lower plan (Downgrade), this change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You will have to pay the difference between the Pro and Basic plan on your next invoice. You will lose access to the features of your current plan (Pro) immediately.
